All IV infusions are administered by a trained medical professional which includes a Physician or Registered Nurse through MGM Medical. MGM Medical is independently contracted through Stretchd Out Buffalo and is not a direct service of SOB!

Upon arrival, the RN or Physician working with you will review your paperwork and chat with you about your medical history and what to expect receiving the injection. Once you’ve consented, they will insert a small needle into your vein which will be attached to a bag that holds all the vitamins and minerals being administered. Post injection, the provider working with you will ask you how you are feeling, be sure you are good to go, and you can take on the rest of your day!

Simple intramuscular injections may only take 5-20minutes max. IV bags depends on how dehydrated you are. It could take 30minutes to 60-90minutes. We would plan at max. an hour to an hour and a half in case your body takes in a bag slower.

Needles are not everyone’s favorite that’s for sure! If you feel uncomfortable, lightheaded, dizzy or any other symptom at any moment, please let the provider know. The needle is small and should only create a small pinching feeling. You may have a minor bruise at the insertion site but that should go away within a few days!
