All IV Hydration and Vitamin Injection services are provided through MGM Medical with Dr. Michael M and Alex L, RN. Stretchd Out Buffalo is proud to partner with this service as part of our growing wellness services. Although you are able to book through SOB’s online booking site, you may be asked to pay through MGM Medical’s system after your appointment. All cancellation and no-show policies are still in effect.

Intramuscular Injections
At this time, we are only offering Vitamin B12 intramuscular injections.
Vitamin B12 plays an essential role in energy metabolism, red blood cell production, nerve health. and normal brain function. Because your body can’t make B12 on its own, maintaining healthy levels is important for overall wellness.
B12 injections deliver the vitamin directly into the muscle, allowing it to bypass the digestive system for efficient absorption. B12 may help energy production, healthy metabolism, nervous system function, red blood cell production, cognitive health and overall wellness.
We offer the methylated version of B12 and Hydroxocobalamin. Methylcobalamin is the active, naturally occurring form of B12. Because it’s already in a form your body can use, it’s often preferred for supporting nerve health and energy production. It may also be a good option for individuals with certain genetic variations, such as MTHFR, that can affect B vitamin metabolism. Hydroxocobalamin is a naturally occurring form of B12 that is converted into active forms as your body needs them. It tends to remain in the body longer than some forms of B12, making it a popular option for individuals looking to maintain healthy B12 levels over time.

All IV infusions are administered by a trained medical professional which includes a Physician or Registered Nurse through MGM Medical. MGM Medical is independently contracted through Stretchd Out Buffalo and is not a direct service of SOB!

Upon arrival, the RN or Physician working with you will review your paperwork and chat with you about your medical history and what to expect receiving the injection. Once you’ve consented, they will insert a small needle into your vein which will be attached to a bag that holds all the vitamins and minerals being administered. Post injection, the provider working with you will ask you how you are feeling, be sure you are good to go, and you can take on the rest of your day!

Simple intramuscular injections may only take 5-20minutes max. IV bags depends on how dehydrated you are. It could take 30minutes to 60-90minutes. We would plan at max. an hour to an hour and a half in case your body takes in a bag slower.

Needles are not everyone’s favorite that’s for sure! If you feel uncomfortable, lightheaded, dizzy or any other symptom at any moment, please let the provider know. The needle is small and should only create a small pinching feeling. You may have a minor bruise at the insertion site but that should go away within a few days!

The cool thing about us is we can customize a package for you that can be just IV hydration OR we can come up with a package that includes our other services too such as stretch, massage, a workout class or whatever you can think of!
